Glacier Kings Add Big Defenceman

Earlier this week the Comox Valley Glacier Kings added size to their back end by trading for 18 year old defenceman Elliot Lee. The 6’3″ 197 pound defenceman will add size and strength as well as depth to the blue line. Lee is in his second full season in the VIJHL (both with Oceanside). Last year he appeared in 41 games for the Generals collecting 5 assists and 67 penalty minutes. This season he has skated in 4 of the team’s 7 contests and has garnered 4 penalty minutes. The Comox Valley native played for the North Island Silvertips U15 team as a 14 year old, then moved up to the Pacific Coast Academy Prep team for a couple years before joining the Gens last season.
